González:" It left to me satisfied the form in which I turned round the party"

The national tennis player says to have gained confidence after closing the victory over the Latvian Gulbis with 6-1 in the last set.

"It was difficult to get to the party because he was beating him very loudly to the ball". It is the explanation that Fernando González gave by the awful beginning of party that it had before the Latvian Ernests Gulbis and that led it to saving five party points to place itself in the quarter finals of the ATP of Vienna.

The best Chilean tennis player at present overcame finally his young rival for 4-6, 7-6 (11) and 6-1.

González, preclassified second, recovered after losing the first set and extracting scarcely forward the second one, but then it sealed his victory contundentemente in the third one.

"There were many points for party and he had the control during most of the meeting", said González, who thinks about how to gain his third title in 2008 and also a place in the Tournament of Shanghai (they bring in the eight first ones of the Champions' Career, where the national advanced to the tenth position).

"Anyhow, I am satisfied for the form in which I turned round the party, and to have ended with 6-1 in the last (set) is really good for my confidence", he added.

In the following phase, González will face the winner of the duel between the Czech Radek Stepanek and the Frenchman Gael Monfils or the Austrian Alexander Peya.
